How Do I Become A Medical Coder & Biller?
Becoming a Medical Coder & Biller requires a combination of education, hands-on experience, and technical skill. Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology

Students will develop proficiency in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding systems, learning how to apply medical codes for billing and reimbursement. They will gain hands-on experience using computerized coding software and electronic health records (EHR). ICD-10-CM/PCS Coding
Students will learn ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding, focusing on diagnostic and procedural coding for different medical conditions and treatments. Topics include diseases of all major organ systems, injuries, external causes, pregnancy, and surgical procedures. They will develop skills in code selection, documentation analysis, and reimbursement methodologies for healthcare facilities.
Math & Computer Applications
